Hi! I'm Dolly, and I'm the proud owner of Sweet Reads. In 2012, I opened a boutique with a few racks and an extremely vague business plan. Twelve years later, with the sudden loss of my father in December, I decided to pivot, & change my brick & mortar business to a book & candy store, with the intent of creating a space that evokes joy.

My father found joy in every one, and every thing, and he inspired me to fill this new space with things that bring happiness; penny candy, books that inspire, and gifts for those we love.
